Help a prospect understand the work behind the promise

A finished job shows one part of a business. The people, preparation, communication and follow-through explain what a customer can expect when they choose you.

Video and photography can make those qualities visible. The assignment may be a customer testimonial, a company story, a campaign or a planned collection of footage and photographs for your marketing team.

Plan around the next decision your customer needs to make

Start with the audience and the questions they bring. What do prospects need to understand about your process? What makes your approach different? Which customer experience can illustrate that difference accurately?

We can help with strategy, ideation, scripting and interview planning before production. That gives the crew a clear purpose and keeps the capture focused on the story and deliverables you need.

Customer stories with specific examples

A useful testimonial explains the situation, the decision and what happened afterward. We help guide the conversation and provide on-camera coaching so people can share their experience comfortably.

The supporting images matter too. Plan the work, people and details that make the customer's story understandable. Any results included in the finished story should come from information the client can support.

Video and photography in the same production plan

Your website, proposals, social posts and campaigns may need photographs as well as films. We can plan brand, portrait, product, event and field photography alongside video, or scope a focused photography assignment.

Identify important photographs before the shoot. That helps us plan coverage, timing and access rather than hoping still images will happen in the gaps.

A full production partner or the crew your team needs

We can support the project from strategy through complete post-production, or provide production-only capture for your own editors. The brief should make clear who handles the edit, graphics, captions, versions, approvals and delivery.

For ServiceTitan's public customer-workshop series, Occulus provided production, with event photography captured at one of the two events. Those finished workshop edits should be credited to the client's editing team rather than to Occulus.

See the work in context

The selected projects below include Lifetime Home Remodeling, ServiceTitan customer workshops and the HB Capital / Superior Group employee-ownership story. Each shows a different use for production support and storytelling.

Tell us who you need to reach, what you need them to understand and how you plan to use the content. We can build the scope around that.

Before we show up with the cameras.

Scope, capture, and delivery—clear before production starts.

Can you film on an active jobsite?

We can plan around the location and work involved. Access, timing, site requirements and the people responsible for coordination need to be agreed before filming.

Do you help customers feel comfortable on camera?

Yes. On-camera coaching and a clear interview plan help people talk about their experience in their own words.

Can we book photography too?

Yes. We can scope a combined video and photography assignment or a photography-only assignment.

Can you work with our marketing team or agency?

Yes. We can lead a project or provide the specific strategy, production or post-production support your team needs.

Do you provide raw footage for our editors?

Production-only capture is an option. File format, organization, transfer and responsibilities are agreed in the scope.

Can one shoot support several uses?

It can when the uses are planned in advance. We scope interviews, B-roll, photographs and versions around the actual deliverables rather than promising an automatic number of assets.

Are you based in Phoenix?

Yes. Occulus Films is based in Phoenix, Arizona and travels for work.
